If you love playing at sweepstakes casinos in the US, you already know the options are extensive. We’ve put together this Spree review to show you what this relatively new brand has to offer compared to the competition.
Our focus will be on the main aspects of the website, including the library, promotions, and overall usability. You'll get front-row seats to our honest assessments of the platform's features. More than this, we'll recommend specific slots from top developers that shouldn't be overlooked during play time. Sounds interesting enough? Well, let's get into it.
Based on all the information we pulled from Spree's Terms of Service, it's clear the brand operates legitimately in the United States. It functions using the sweepstakes model, where virtual currencies known as Gold Coins and Sweeps Coins are used for gameplay. The sweepstakes casino launched in 2024 and currently features over 1,700 games from providers like NetGaming, Playtech, Fantasma Games, Playson, and more. NetGaming alone offers 59 slots on this site.
In the library, we found different types of slots in varying designs, including top-rated titles like Festival of Fortune and Fireball Inferno Tiki. There are also table games, live dealer games, and some exclusive titles you won’t find anywhere else. The brand's official website is operated by Play Spree Ltd., a company that's incorporated in the Isle of Man.
Further research into the operator's activities has shown that the games are all 100% fair. We've also verified that Spree complies with all applicable US federal laws and regulations regarding sweepstakes gaming. However, the website can't be accessed from every state in the US, as 20 are currently restricted. They include Alabama, California, Connecticut, Delaware, Georgia, Idaho, Illinois, Indiana, Kentucky, Louisiana, Maryland, Maine, Michigan, Montana, New Jersey, Nevada, New York, Tennessee, Washington, and West Virginia.
To ensure that players feel confidently safe, we ran security tests on the website, and it passed. Multiple security measures like SSL encryption, firewalls, and other electronic safeguards are in place to protect users. Overall, there's nothing to worry about as you go ahead and play your best games and claim attractive bonuses at Spree Casino. Here's how Spree works: The virtual currency system
Our Spree reviews wouldn't be complete without first telling you what makes the site different from traditional gaming platforms. Spree operates a standard sweepstakes model, which means you can play casino-style games for fun and entertainment. No real-money gaming takes place, but you're given the chance to redeem real-world prizes. There are two virtual currencies in use on the website, and here's how they work:
Gold Coins (GC)
– These are used entirely to play games for fun. No amount of play or Gold Coins you accumulate will bring you closer towards prize redemptions. Gold Coins can be gotten through promotions and also by making optional GC purchases on the website.
Spree Coins (SC)
– Generally, these are called Sweeps Coins, but Spree has given them a more unique moniker. They're used to access games in promotional play mode, where you can end up redeeming them for prizes. To do this, you'll need to first meet the 1x playthrough requirement and then accumulate enough to cross the minimum redemption limit.
The SC redemption process is actually quite simple. Once you've fulfilled the conditions stated above, you'll then verify your identity. This involves uploading the required documents, which can be a passport, driver's license, or other government-issued ID. The minimum redemption threshold to beat will depend on the type of prize you want to redeem. For gift cards, the minimum is 10 SC, while cash prizes start at 100 SC.

A look at the bonuses for players at Spree social casino
Spree doesn’t just throw a welcome bonus in your face and sends you on your way. There's so much more to enjoy once you sign up and have become an active player on the website. So whether this is your first time visiting the platform or you've been on it a while, there's something to help you stack up more GC and SC. We've gone through most of them and have provided details of what you'll get from each.
Spree’s Welcome Offer
New US players are welcomed to Spree with a package worth 25,000 Gold Coins and 2.5 Spree Coins. You simply need to register an account and verify it to claim this bonus, and no
Spree promo code
is needed. It's a pretty straightforward offer, and you won't have to jump through hoops or make an optional GC purchase. The virtual currencies appear automatically in your balance once your account is verified, and you can go on to play the games you want.
Although we were extremely pleased with the size of this promotion, we can't say it's the best we've seen. If you doubt us, perhaps it's worth comparing side-by-side with Crown Coins Casino, and then you'll see what we mean. Still, it's a good deal that will help you start strong.
If you want to go for one of the first GC purchase bonuses, you're allowed to, just remember that this is not necessary or mandatory. But if you’re interested, these are the GC bundles to consider:
Beyond the welcome package, Spree offers a variety of promotions that will suit every player. The Spree login bonus is one such promo that becomes available every 24 hours. All you need to do is sign in to your account, and you'll receive 2,000 Gold Coins and a random amount of free Spree Coins. Depending on the day, the release amount will often range from 0.3 SC to 2.50 SC.

Referral Bonus
If you've got friends that are as interested in sweepstakes casinos as you are, you can invite them to Spree. If you can get them on board, you’ll be rewarded with 25 free Sweeps Coins. But there's a rule you must remember here. The bonus will not be released until your referrals have verified their accounts and made optional GC purchases of at least $50+. Other prizes may also be included, which you'll find out once you start sending out your referral link to friends.
Prize Drops
In this super fun promotion, you're expected to play eligible games to win a share of random prizes. The prize drops are random and typically range from 5 to 100 Spree Coins. Keep in mind that there isn't a fixed pattern in how prizes are released. What you just need to do is to keep playing the eligible titles, and you might just be fortunate enough to land a prize.
Tournaments
Spree sweepstakes casino regularly features various tournaments that are mostly geared towards slots. By opting in to participate in any of these tournaments, you have a good chance of reaching top leaderboard positions and winning prizes. We came across a couple live tournaments during our Spree review, such as the Spin Rush and Turbo Time. The prize pool for this particular tournament is up to 2,500 Sweeps Coins, which should honestly motivate you to take part.
Giveaways on Social Media
Sweepstakes casinos are fond of doling out surprises to players who were smart enough to follow them on social media. Spree currently has active accounts on Instagram, Facebook, X, and Discord. You should do well to follow the platform's official handles to know when these surprise giveaways are taking place. In some instances, you'll be asked to complete tasks, but it's hardly anything that's too hard. Because social media giveaways are very common, you'll often come across offers from competitors. If you're looking to weigh your options, you can see how it compares with Zula Casino giveaways.
Is there a Spree loyalty program on the cards?
As a matter of fact, Spree social casino features a loyalty program that's open to both new and existing players. Although a couple Spree reviews we found online don't mention this, we interacted with the platform only to discover that one exists. The way it works is simple. You accumulate experience points (XP) to progress through the 100 levels, winning rewards as you go along.
Only gameplay using Sweeps Coins is counted at a rate of 1 SC = 1 XP. As soon as you reach level 100, you're automatically moved into the exclusive VIP club, which has just three tiers. As a member here, you'll have access to better perks and even more exciting bonuses. We looked through the system, and these are what you stand to benefit:
Emerald VIP
– Weekly scratch-off and weekly gift spins.
Diamond VIP
– Personal host, premium shop, weekly scratch-off, weekly wonder wheel, weekly bubble burst, weekly gift spins, and birthday gift.
Top games to play with virtual currencies at Spree
Once you've completed the Spree register process and claimed your welcome bonus, there's nothing stopping you from playing games. Fortunately, over 1,700+ highly engaging games are featured around the lobby from world-class studios.
Considering that slots are the most diverse of the featured categories, we spent some time testing a few titles from developers like NetGaming. Note that this isn’t an exhaustive list, as NetGaming alone has 59 slots available at Spree.
Fireball Inferno Tiki – Tribal-inspired slot game
Fireball Inferno Tiki
RTP: 94.28
volatility: high
At 94.28%, Fireball Inferno Tiki does not meet the average 96% RTP that is common in the industry. However, it makes up for this in other ways. The island adventure plays out on a 5x4 grid layout with 20 paylines. You'll enjoy non-stop action from a mix of bonus games, cash collectors, and respins. The free spin bonus rounds come packed with multipliers to boost your results, while the 4-tiered jackpots allow you to achieve potential wins of up to 1,000x.

Queens of Africa – Celebrating rich African history
Queens Of Africa
RTP: 95.93
volatility: medium
Queens of Africa is a 5x3 slot game from NetGaming with 15 fixed paylines and a 95.93% RTP. It comes with wilds that pay the most and can substitute for every other symbol on the reels. Mystery symbols and a free spins round are also available to help you potentially reach the 1,307x max multiplier. The slot has medium volatility, so combinations will form more often than a high-volatility game.

Festival of Fortune – Experience the Chinese New Year in vibrant colors
Festival Of Fortune
RTP: 95.93
volatility: medium
The Festival of Fortune slot brings a cultural extravaganza that's like no other. The reel symbols are a mixture of classic playing cards and Oriental-themed icons, such as dragons, radiant lanterns, and drums. It's played on a grid with 5 reels and 3 rows, with potential max wins reaching up to 1,333.33x. At medium volatility and a decent RTP of 95.93%, you'll likely encounter enough winning combinations across multiple rounds to keep your Gold Coin or Sweeps Coin balance healthy.

Other online slots we recommend at Spree social casino
It would be extremely difficult to actually list all the titles we feel you should try out at Spree because there are so many. So in addition to the NetGaming slots we've described above, here are two more games to consider if you're looking for variety:
Anaconda Wild 2 (Playtech)
– 25,000x max win; 96.47% RTP; high volatility
The Spree website features a clean layout with bold fonts that are easy to read. Navigation is also smooth, as you're not subjected to complicated menus and tabs. The gameplay experience is just as seamless as well. Every game we played was responsive and loaded quickly without noticeable lags or crashes.
For now, Spree doesn't feature a downloadable app. However, this shouldn't be of much concern given the well-optimized attributes of the mobile website. As part of our tests, we also tried the desktop version and found it equally satisfying. As far as website design is concerned, however, we've seen some pretty great platforms. If you desire a bolder brand experience, check out our TheBoss.us review on usability.
Making payments at Spree
Just like any legit sweepstakes casino, you're not expected to make any purchases to enjoy the games and promotions on Spree. If you still choose to purchase GC bundles, the only supported methods available are Visa, Mastercard, and Apple Pay. SC redemptions, on the other hand, are supported only via bank transfers and can take up to 10 days to be processed. Just ensure you've completed KYC verification beforehand to reduce the wait time.

Customer service channels
There are two ways to get in touch with the Spree support team whenever you want to get any challenges sorted. You can either send an email to the operator's official address or simply dial the telephone line for quicker service. Both options are available 24/7, but response times will depend on the volume of requests being received from players. We didn't find a live chat option on the website, which was very disappointing, and we hope they improve on this.
