Luckyland Slots used to be a very smooth sweepstakes casino. However, as stated on its landing page, the brand has stopped accepting new registrations. Existing players are also having a hard time trying to log into their accounts.
The good news is that there are many sites like Luckyland Slots that you can use. We took out time to explore several others, comparing their welcome bonuses, game selections, as well as mobile performances. At the end, this guide will focus on the best ones, including CrownCoins Casino, Hello Millions, Jackpota, McLuck, MegaBonanza, PlayFame, and SpinQuest.

Luckyland Slots used to be a very smooth sweepstakes casino, where players could sign up to play games. Even though it used to offer just about 100 games, many still liked it for its collection of popular titles. However, recently, the site announced that it will be closing operations in September. That means new players won’t be allowed to sign up for an account. In fact, existing players are also having a hard time logging into their accounts. With all these, it only makes sense to explore other alternative sites that offer better experiences. After comparing Luckyslots with our sweepstakes sister sites, which are highlighted on this page, we found out they offer a better number of games and overall experiences.
If you’re looking forward to choosing the best Luckyland Slots, it won’t make a lot of sense to jump on any random one you come across. Instead, take the time out to explore their game selections, test the site’s mobile performance, while also comparing their available welcome offers. Without saying much, here are some top factors to look out before choosing alternative gaming sites:
The primary reason why you’re willing to sign up for an account on sweepstakes casino is to play games. If so, then it won’t make sense to sign up for an account on a site with limited games or titles that don’t really appeal to you.
So, before you hit that sign up button, make sure to check the site’s lobby for an idea of the games that it has in store. If you’re a fan of slot games, look out for the availability of various types, including classic, Megaways, jackpots, as well as branded. Also, look out for games from top providers like NetGaming. Once you’re satisfied with your findings, you can then proceed to creating your account. This is also a very important factor to consider for those looking to play at alternative sites like Funzpoints.
You’ll agree with us that more than 90% of players now prefer to play games on their phones rather than sitting before a computer. In that light, make sure to check how well a sweepstakes site performs on the phone before creating an account. You can also check the availability of a mobile app before proceeding to sign up. During the test, navigate to several sections of the site, including game lobby, account settings, etc, for an idea of how fast the pages load.
Bonuses are a very important factor to consider before signing up for any sweepstakes gaming site. While most actually offer generous welcome offers, some go the extra mile by providing a wide range of bonuses like daily login rewards, referral bonuses, and mail-in bonus. The more ways to collect Gold Coins and Sweeps Coins, the longer you’ll be able to enjoy your favorite casino-style games. That said, don’t just look at the bonus size alone. Also take a look at some of the terms and conditions attached to these offers.
Out of the over 20 sweepstakes sites that we explored, here are some of our favorite alternative ones:
Crown Coins Casino is a top reputable sweepstakes site that you can use in place of Luckyland Slots. While there are about 600 games in the lobby, what stood out to us about the site is the fact that it sources games from top providers like NetGaming. The presence of these brands is a clear sign that the site cares so much about the satisfaction of players, as their games are widely known for high-quality and crispy performances.
If you need recommendations, some of the best slots from NetGaming that you can play in the lobby include 3 Wild Sevens, Diner Dash Delights, Fireball Inferno Tiki, Soccer Glory– Fortune Pick, and many more. That said, Crown Coins welcome offer is also worth noting. For context, new players are greeted with a bonus consisting of 100,000 Gold Coins and 2 Sweeps Coins. However, if you wish to check how Crown Coins Casino compares to other top sites, you check out our Mcluck review.
If you're a big time fan of popular slot games, then you’ll definitely enjoy what Hello Millions have in store. The site features more than 1500 casino games, which are mostly slots, even though there’s a mix of table and live dealer games. We took a look at the lobby and found that it offers everything from classic slots to Megaways and jackpot, so there are more than enough options for you to explore here.
If you like popular games from NetGaming, some top ones you’re sure to find here include American Wonder Reels, Chillies Trio Hold & Win, Foxy Heist, Pirate’s Fortune, Bonanza Billion, Fruit Million, and many more. Sign up for an account here and become eligible for a welcome bonus of 15,000 Gold Coins and 2.5 Sweeps Coins.
Jackpota is another reputable sweepstakes site that you can use aside from Luckyland Slots. Unlike Luckyland, Jackpota features more than 1200 casino-style games and they include slots, table games, live dealers, and a couple of exclusive titles.
One thing we like about this site is its fast registration process. Regardless of your gaming experience, you won’t spend up to 2 minutes creating an account here. And the fact that you don’t need to enter any promo code during registration makes the entire process more streamlined. While Modo is another similar pick, Jackpota welcomes new players onboard with a bonus of 7,500 Gold Coins and 2.5 Sweeps Coins.
If you’ve played at a sweepstakes site with bad mobile performance, then you’ll surely appreciate the smooth gameplay experience at MegaBonanza. During our review of the brand, we figured it features both iOS and Android apps, making it easy to enjoy your favorite casino-style games on the go. We also tested the mobile site experience and were impressed with how quickly the pages loaded and how responsive the navigation felt.
That said, MegaBonanza’s game selections are also worth noting in this guide. Did you know that the brand offers more than 1,200 games in its lobby? These games are not just slots, but also a variety of table games and live dealers. You may ask: what about its bonus? MegaBonanza welcomes new players onboard with 7,500 Gold Coins and 2.5 Sweeps Coins without needing any promo code.
McLuck is one of the best spots for bonuses. Besides the generous welcome bonus of 7,500 Gold Coins and 2.5 Sweeps Coins, McLuck still offers a long list of regular bonuses that you can claim, including daily login rewards, referral bonuses, and mail-in bonuses. However, if you’re interested in better deals, you can check our sweepstakes promo codes page for more details.
That said, McLuck also shines for its vast range of casino games. While checking out the site, we figured it offers more than 1,200 casino-style games and they spread across slots, table games, and live dealer games. Another cool thing about this site is that its games perform really well on the phone browsers, and the fact that it also features a dedicated mobile app, makes it very easy for players to play even on the go.
Just like many of the sites listed above, PlayFame also offers a wide range of games that you can choose from. While checking out the site, we figured there were more than one thousand titles, which is not something you’ll find at regular sites.
While these games also comprise slots, live dealers, and game shows, the operator’s classic game collection stands out to us. If you’re a fan, some of the exciting classic slot titles that we found in the lobby include Inner Fire, Cycle of Luck, Wild Fire, Coin Forge, Pepper Mania, and 20 Mega Fruit. We also found some players’ all time favorites in the lobby, talking about games like 3 Wild Jokers, Fireball Inferno, and much more. As for bonus, PlayFame also welcomes new players with a bonus of 7,500 GC and 2.5 SC.
Lastly, SpinQuest is another good alternative sweepstakes site that you can use. Don’t know about you, but one thing we like about the site is its generous welcome offer. As a new player, you stand the chance of claiming up to 110,000 Gold Coins and 3 Sweeps Coins without providing any promo code. Creating an account is also not a big deal, as it can be done in just a matter of minutes. And when it comes to games, there are about 800 titles waiting for you here, and they include slots, table games, live dealers, arcade, and many others.
Before we proceed, here’s a table comparing all the sites that we recommended above:
| Alternative sites | Welcome bonus | Number of casino-style games |
|---|---|---|
| Crown Coins Casino | 100,000 GC and 2 SC | 600+ |
| Hello Millions | 15,000 GC and 2.5 SC | 1500+ |
| Jackpota | 7,500 GC and 2.5 SC | 1200+ |
| MegaBonanza | 7,500 GC and 2.5 SC | 1200+ |
| McLuck | 7,500 GC and 2.5 SC | 1200+ |
| PlayFame | 7,500 GC and 2.5 SC | 1000+ |
| SpinQuest | 110,000 GC and 3 SC | 800+ |
